Donna Kisogloo

Donna Kisogloo has been riding on and off for 4 years, more on at the moment than off.  Since relocating to Cape Town in October 2009 unicycling became the central focus of her life.  With her humble experience on a unicycle, she has become more confidant on a 24" for mountain and a 26" for cross-country.

Donna spent March – May 2009 trekking for 10 weeks in Nepal (Annapurna Circuit Trek & Annapurna Base Camp walks for 21 days and Everest Base Camp walk for 13 days), followed by 4 weeks of backpacking through India and 3 weeks of recovery in Thailand that soon turned into 10 days of diving.  She was an avid sport climber for 6 years, which has given her the outdoor exposure necessary for this trip.  Addicted to juggling for 12 years fueled her latest addiction, unicycling.

Unemployed since her return to South Africa, she has assisted her boyfriend, Alan Read, with the development of his company, OddWheel Unicycles. Together, they are slowly building up the necessary skills and wide spectrum of exposure to serve all that encompasses unicycling to achieve the goals of this adventure.
